[Mondo-devel] mondorestore not found when restoring on HP Gen 9 BL 360

Timothy KEDMENEC

Hi Bruno / Mondo Devs,

We are trying to perform a restore on our HP gen9 blade servers, but its failing with the error message ‘mondorescue not found’.  I guess its not mounting the LVM ?   The same backup/restore is working on our Gen8 blades.

I am not sure if it matter or not, but our bootmode is set to legacy, not UEFI.

We are running SLES 11 SP3 11.3.22

Logs are attached.

Yep. mondorestore should use either a CD/DVD or a USB device or a tape device to perform the restore, not the local disk (which will be reformated anyway during restore).

Bruno.
