[Mondo-devel] Problems on UEFI Fedora 24

Rick Stevens
Bruno,

I've been trying to use MondoRescue to back up a UEFI-based Fedora 24
system (64-bit). Granted, I'm using the Fedora 23 binaries to do it and
it works fine on a non-UEFI Fedora 24 system.

The command I used was:

        mondoarchive -O -i -I / -E /media \
        -d /media/3TB-Drive/Backups/MondoImages -s 4400m \
        -S /var/tmp -T /var/tmp -z -p hamster-2016-10-25

The mindi bootdisk creation fails. I'm attaching the mondoarchive.log,
mindi.log and a full listing of the /usr/share/syslinux directory tree,
since that's where mindi seems to be having issues.

What's your diagnosis?

Only few distros are "supported" on UEFI ATM.
Could you test the patch available at http://trac.mondorescue.org/changeset/3609 and report whether that fixes your issue ?

Best regards,
Bruno.
