[Mondo-devel] Mondo 3.2.2-r3578 + mindi 3.0.2-r3578: howto enable support of NTFS-partitions?

spezialist
Hi all!

In attempt of BMR recovery of the Dell R210 server with surprise I found out, that the created with mondoarchive bootable DVD with mondorestore for CentOS-6.7 don't support mounting of NTFS-partitions. At the same time I tried to mount the USB-stick formatted in NTFS on which iso-files (file size more than 4 GB) for recovery were stored.

How developers think, can after all it is necessary enable by default support of mounting of NTFS-partitions in mindi? It seems to me -- it will be very correct decision, as many users store the backup copies (file size more than 4 GB) not only on NFS resources, but also on various portable HDD, which in the majority are formatted under NTFS.

And still question: how it is really correct to enable support of NTFS for mindi + mondorescue?

Very thanks for the support.

You can try to use FORCE_MODS="ntfs" in the /etc/mindi/mindi.conf conf file for that.
I'm adding it to the FS list as indeed it wasn't there.

Bruno.
